The Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival has been held from 4th to 11th. At the first harf of the festival, I couldn’t see any films because of my work. But I could manage to take days off on 8, 9 and 10th. I’ve already bought a book of ten tickets in avance, and I saw ten films for three days.
Genarally, documentary film isn’t a spectacle, and it would be even boring to see documentary film. But to see documentary film surely demands some literacies. So I enjoyed to see the films but couldn’t catch on some of them. I had a nap during the screening, though just two times.
Anyway, I took pleasure in this three days beyond my indifferent dairy life. The festival seems to be successful on the whole.
